Flair Was There: WGCI Big Jam

This year, WGCI stepped up their Big Jam lineup to a whole new level. The all-star talents include Lil Wayne, T Pain, Keyshia Cole, Keri Hilson, Ben One and Gym Class Heroes. Part of the “I Am Music” tour, this group already impressed audiences in Miami, Texas and California before heading to Chicago. Between the phenomenal singers, background performers and impressive special effects, this music spectacle ended 2008 with a bang.

2008 was a huge year for all of the artists: Lil Wayne received 8 Grammy nominations, including Best Album of the Year for “Tha Carter III.” T Pain won Best Collaboration for “Good Life” at the BET Awards, Song Writer of the Year at the BMI Urban Awards, and a Grammy for “Good Life,” plus had an overwhelming number of other nominations and wins. The rest of the artist’s have dominated this years award nominations across the board, and have each had their own remarkable accomplishments. We're sure these artists will continue to produce great work in 2009, and we'll keep you posted on all of their new music!
