Drake's Official Vid

Canadian born actor/singer/rapper Drake is certainly making his presence felt in the industry. With rumors swirling around him signing with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, the Toronto native is doing big things and garnering accolades from industry heavy hitters.

With a torn ACL, Drake took the stage at the BET awards. It would prove to be a controversial performance as Lil Wayne's pre-teen daughter and her friends took the stage which Drake recently responded by saying "it was a terrible idea...but it is what it is." Check the story and BET's reaction here. Nevertheless the young star is multitalented and we will be hearing his name for a minute.

Drake's Best I Ever Had is taking over the airwaves and he has released the official video directed by Kanye West. Uda, uda best...haaahaaa. Enjoy!

The Taste is Here!!

Nothing beats a Chi-Town summer. We all wait eagerly for the Taste of Chicago. Well it is here. This is the 29th year of the Taste and we assure you it will be food, food, fun and more food. It is not to be missed.

One thing I found really interesting about the Taste this years is they are in line with the idea of smaller portions. For those of you who are not chunk monsters like me and choose to be balanced you can get smaller serving by purchasing whatever "Tastey" treat you like with 2 to 4 tickets.



It takes place at Grant Park from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It goes till July 5. It is super affordable with tickets being sold in strips of 12 for just $8.

The layout of the Taste of Chicago has been remapped to make it easier for you to navigate towards your favorite booths or new ones. Be adventurous with your eats!!

Michael's Last Rehearsal

Footage was released today of the King of Pop's final rehearsal. He was practicing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 23, 2 days before he died, for his 50 date residency at the O2 arena in London.

Joe & Chico DeBarge do House of Blues

On June 25, the day we lost the King of Music, singers/songwriters Joe and Chico DeBarge took the stage at the House of Blues in Chicago, pleasing fans with a double bill. The two crooners had previously collaborated on the hit track "No Guarantee". They gave you a dose of the hot singles we all love as well as some new music. The crowd went ballistic at the opening rhythm of Chico's "Iggin me" and Joe did not disappoint. They both have new albums set for release on July 14. Look out for Joe's Signature album and Chico's Addiction. Of course the Flair girls were there. Check out Joe's emotional testament to Michael along with Flair snapshots. Joe is looking very dapper while serenading the ladies. Chico took the stage and set it on fire. They are complete opposites in style. Joe is more sultry and seductive whereas Chico is more rugged, but both are melodic and know how to reel the ladies in on a different level. Check out the girls kickin' it for the evening and the cute couple. Fans really enjoyed the show!! The Toffee twins chatted with Joe backstage. Chico spoke to Falir about life and music. Ms. nekia Nichelle got a big ole' hug...aaawwww!

Michael Jackson's will filed as of July 1, 2009. The megastar's estate is worth $500,000,000.00 in non-monetary assets. The rest of Michael's monetary earnings are to go for the care of his children. Katherine Jackson has been named the sole guardian of Michael's three children and Diana Ross was named alternative guardian.

The family also released a statement dispelling the rumors that a public and private viewing of the late King will be held at Neverland Ranch this Friday.

That rumor didn't initially make sense to me because Neverland has been vacant for quite sometime. Flair will keep you posted on more Jackson news as it unfolds.
