Hot vacation spots

It’s that time of the year when families will want to take a summer vacation, and get away to enjoy a time of relaxation. Most people will be looking for the hottest deals on travel packages or will just stay close to home.

The top vacation spots this year including number one on the list is California, which offers a wide variety of tourist must sees. Relaxing on the beach, tasting the life of Hollywood, Disney Land for the children and the Golden Gate Bridge are just a few places to visit in California.

Number 2 on the list is Las Vegas. If you’re looking for nightlife and gambling, Las Vegas has it all. If you’re aiming for a much calmer and relaxing atmosphere then head to Hawaii for a little fun in the sun off their luxurious beaches or bicycling off volcanoes.

A place that has a lot of Aztec myan history sites and spicy good food is Mexico. Horse back riding on the beach and bicycling off the west coast where there are more hills is a tourist haven. This place offers an array of top rated resorts along with cave diving south of Canon area. If you’re looking to shop or visit a couple late night shows visit New York. Great food, Broadway shows and a taste of the big apple brings New York in at vacation hot spot number 5.

Head out to Miami also called (big water) and learn to surf on one of the most well known beaches, North beach, and gateway down to the keys off the Atlantic Ocean, or visit exquisite seafood restaurants. Phoenix comes in at number 7 with the most visited place in the state being the Grand Canyon.

If you’re wanting something more tropical, then vacation to the Caribbean. This is a place for the whole family to have fun and to get a view of the ocean animals. Island of Vioquest east of Porto Rico is the only place to view a bioluminestant bay.

If you’re looking to venture into the city, then Chicago is waiting at number nine on the list. With a number of museums, shows and the best deep dish pizza in town. You can’t go wrong here. Last but not least on the list is Yellowstone which is known for its lodges, hot springs, outdoor camping and hiking through the scenic mountain views. At Yellowstone you will also find their signature huckleberry flavor, my personal favorite that is found in their ice cream, coffee, jam and in many of their products.

Whether you decide to travel this summer or not, these places offer a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The girls decided to give you some behind the scenes footage of their last day in NYC. Awe (sad face). They decided to go to Cleopatra's Needle.

Chundria & Nekia Nichelle on Times Square. " Beautiful Lights, makes you feel like you are a movie star BUT too thick of a crowd to really bask in the moment."

Ta Cocina Restaraunt and Bar:
The girls stopped by Ta Cocina for some great authentic Mexican food. Nothing like it!! Yum..

Amibence & Food - Chundria & Nekia Nichelle say it's a "Great place to take 50 first dates"
"Mexican food you will never forget" Chundria still wants more fajitas after 3 hours.
Drinks- "Margarita tasted so authentic that I felt like I was in Mexico," Nekia said.

The Toffee twins, Nekia Nichelle and Chundria, have been shopping, sight seeing, dining and clubbin fabu in NY. Here are a few of their reviews with more NY goodies to come!!

Taste Restaurant and Wine Bar:
Ambiance- Both Chundria & Nekia Nichelle agree "The decor is beautiful! The outside brings you in." / "Taste is owned by Eli Zabar who also owns several other businesses on the corner of 3rd Ave & 80th; including, an ice cream shop, bakery, market, and winery"

Food-"Very creative meals"/ "Goat cheese and spinach omelet was too rich but the staff was delightful to satisfy me with a decadent plate of French Toast," Chundria said.

Waitstaff- "Most were on their job but one in particular was dying for a break"



Got to be an aphrodisiac!



Pastis French Bistro:
Ambiance- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle loved the Sex in the City hotspot. "French antique decor made us feel like we are in Paris" / "Lived up to our expectations"

Food- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle agree that it's "A place that everybody who is anybody talks about" / "The pancakes are thick as tires, you will be sure to get full from one bite"

Waitstaff- "Excellent!"/ "Warm & Friendly" / "Waiter was pleased to accommodate us. He was even excited to snap a photo of us" The toffee twins give the waitstaff a thumbs up.






Pastis has aslo been featured a few times in the "Sex and the City" series. So fitting. Delish!!

Shopping/ 34th St & Broadway:
Ambiance- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle were true fashionistas on 34th and Broadway. "A real life zoo"/ "Lots of: street vendors, tourist, stores, cabs, food, and PEOPLE" / "Be prepared when you decide to venture to 34th & Broadway. Although you will find what you are looking for, make sure you go with some patience"





Cleopatra's Needle:
Ambiance- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle were both loving the mellow atmosphere. "Quaint and quiet with sultry sounds of live jazz"

Food- "Seafood combo was fresh and filling" says Nekia Nichelle. Chundria chose the Spinach Lasagna which she stated had "fresh vegetables however the lasagna could have used some additional seasoning"

Waitstaff- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle agreed that the "Waitress was nice but a little off however the friendly owners compensated for her mishaps."



Courtyard by Marriott:Ambiance- Chundria Nekia Nichelle "Very peaceful hotel inside and out"/ "Located in a safe area"

Food- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle were pleased with the plethora of eats provided by the hotel. "Hotel provides many options if you are hungry. They have a full service restaurant, bar, small convenient stand (with snacks), and a market around the corner"

Amenities- Chundria & Nekia Nichelle got their relaxtion on. "Workout facility, sauna, pool, spa, and much more at your disposal to enhance your stay"



Staff- he ladies agree "Staff was extremely friendly! Although there was a little mishap with the incidentals policy, but they quickly fixed their error and made sure they accommodated us until the last day of our stay"
