The entire show paid homage to the greatest entertainer that ever lived with performances from New Edition including Bobby Brown who opened the show with a J5 medley, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo who sang his rendition of Lady in My Life, and Ciara sang Heal the World. Jay-Z took the stage as well as Beyonce, Souljah Boy, Keysha Cole, Wayne, Drake, Monica and Maxwell.
